After the Bills 23-20 loss against the Texans, it became evident that the Bills have no real threat at receiver outside of Khalil Shakir. This list is in no particular order, I believe any of these 5 receivers would help Josh Allen out and improve the team.
1) Amari Cooper
There have been reports that Amari Cooper is already on the trading block and the comp the Browns are looking for is a 3rd round pick. The Bills certainly have the ammo for this, and Cooper would make this team immediately better. We already know having a great route runner as a WR1 works out well for us, and Amari Cooper isn't a diva so that deserves some brownie points.
2) Davantae Adams
Let's get the most obvious one out of the way. Yes, Davantae Adams would make the team better this year, he's still a great player and would produce with Josh Allen as his QB. My only gripe with trading for Adams is one the comp would be the most out of anyone on this list were we are probably going to trade a player and a 2nd round draft pick. Which we traded Stef for so were basically just traded Stef for Davantae Adams which is a lateral move. Also, he becomes a free agent after this year so if you trade for him, you will possibly have to give him a new contract and for a 31-year-old receiver I personally wouldn't want to do that. If Adams does get traded to the Bills, I won't be mad at all though. When you give Josh Allen a great player I will never be mad.
3) Cooper Kupp
You are probably reading this in shock, wondering why the Rams would ever trade Cooper Kupp. The Rams are 1-4 with their whole roster injured and have no real hope for the playoffs. The Rams might be looking to rebuild the roster to "tank". I don't believe in tanking, but they might still blow up their roster to build for future years. I get Kupp is on the older side like i said with Adams but I feel like Kupp would be the perfect receiver for Josh Allen. Don't be surprised if Kupp gets traded before the deadline this year.
4) Diontae Johnson
Wouldn't be a flashy trade by any means but the pros would be that the comp would be light for Johnson and The Bills wouldn't have to change much about there "everybody eats" mantra. He would fit well with the Bills.
5) Christan Kirk
Kirk is good buddies with Josh Allen, with the two being golfing buddies in the offseason. Kirk has kind of been the odd man out this season with the Jaguars with Brian Thomas taking most of the touches and Gabe Davis their and Evan Engram back to return this week. Kirk hasn't seen the production he has got in years past and is already reported on the trading block. I feel like Kirk would be great in a "everybody eats" role in Buffalo, and also seems like he's a type of player that would be good in a Joe Brady offense.
